RUIKE P882-B
The Ruike P882 is a lightweight folding knife with a black 12C27 stainless steel blade. It is light and measures almost 10 cm when folded, making it discreet.
It is unlocked with a thumb button and held in place with the ‘back lock’ system.
Details of the handle and pivot
RUIKE knife handles are a mixture of fibreglass and resin, which makes the knives long-lasting and prevents scratches and abrasion in everyday use.
The back lock is operated using the notch provided on the back of the handle. It is one of the strongest locking systems available.
Blade Details
12C27 is one of a family of seven grades of Swedish stainless cutlery steel produced by ALLEIMA. (ALLEIMA is the new name of Sandvik MATERIALTECHNOLOGY as of September 2022). This steel is derived from 13C26 steel used for the manufacture of razor blades. It is also used for the manufacture of ice skate blades. Like all steels in this range, it has a structure with a very high density of secondary carbides. However, despite a hardness of between 57 and 59 HRC, it is very easy to sharpen.
