Blade Details
D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel that is highly valued by cutlers. It offers good edge retention and hardness, while being more corrosion resistant than other high-carbon steels. For this knife, the D2 is treated using quenching and cryogenic treatment, which allows for an ideal hardness of 60~61 HRC.
